CDC Advisory Expanded to 28 Countries

The spread of the mosquito-borne Zika virus has become a world-wide concern, with the World Health Organization declaring it global health emergency on Monday. This is the first time the agency has used that classification since the deadly Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Here's the latest on the virus, which has been linked to an alarming birth defect among newborns.

Our Provider Family Is Growing

Carlos A. Rodriguez, MD,FACOG, was born and raised in Puerto Rico, obtained a bachelor degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology and worked in a VA Hospital for eight years. Then decided to study medicine and early in Medical School realized that his call in life was to become and OB/GYN.During his residency years he joined the Army Reserve and served as a Captain in a Combat Support Hospital unit. Later Dr. Rodriguez served active duty as a Major and had the opportunity to sharpen his surgical skills by taking multiple trainings at The Walter Reed Medical Center in Advanced Laparospic and Hysteroscopic techniques.

Our Newest Award Winning OB/GYN!

Yesenia T. Moya, M.D., received her medical degree in the top 98th percentile of her class from the University of Zulia, Maracaibo, Venezuela. She then completed a two-year OB/GYN residency training at the Military Hospital, where she earned the Best Resident of the Year Award. Dr. Moya has earned numerous honorary awards throughout her academic career such as Highest Academic Honor, Top Medical Student Award, Outstanding Academic Performance Award, Dean's List-School of Medicine over several years, and placed 3rd on state contest for general practitioner. Dr. Moya sees her patients in St. Cloud, Hunter's Creek and Altamonte Springs locations
